We have known Roy for the past 25 years. We first met when he was the manager of Byers Transport. Ray knew him through the Rotary Club as well as business. Over the years we became good friends. We remember when GP ReLoad was a dream & watched it become a reality. After his "friend" Gordon turned on him, he had a successful career with Reliance. We know that Roy had a long battle with many underlying health conditions over the past years. You have every reason to be proud of him. We enjoyed visiting with him at his camp. When he was in town he would often pop into the office for a visit. He will be missed by many here in Grande Prairie who come to love, admire & respect him. If there is any thing we can do, please contact us.

Dear Mrs and Mr Dollman, I am so shocked and sorry to hear about the passing of Roy. Roy and I were together for about 7 years through high school and beyond. We went through a lot together and I remember that you both were so supportive. I have many fond memories of Roy and of you both. Here are just a few of them: I remember learning to play euchre with Roy and you both and enjoying many hours around your dining table playing cards and having fun. I remember Roy teaching me how to drive a standard in your old Volkswagen bus - what a hoot that was! I remember the mustangs that Roy spent so much time on in your driveway - fixing up one, selling it then starting all over with a different one. I remember his love for playing hockey (and the stinky equipment!). And I remember his kind, smiling eyes - that's what attracted me to him in the first place. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and a part of your family at that time. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Hugs, Nancy Stadler
