Roy and I had many conversations when I played fastball. I was a catcher and he was an umpire so we joked around a lot. Later I was in rotary with Roy.. It was an honour to call him my friend.

I just want to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Roy and Barbara . I just spoke with my brother Garry Hof and he told me many stories about Roy. I have come to learn that Mr and Mrs Borstad have been a huge influence in my brotherâ??s life. Because of Roy, my brother Garry has been able to volunteer for the Grande Prairie Athletics for several years. This has brought Garry so much joy . Royâ??s kindness and consideration has made a big difference in my brotherâ??s life and I wanted to say Thank you very much ! My brother is really going to miss Roy . Please know that the Hof family is thinking about you at this difficult time. Sounds like he will be missed but hopefully knowing that he made a difference in many lives will help. Trudy Woolford
