Roy Venon Berg, resident of Grande Priarie, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years.

Roy was born in La Glace, AB, and raised in Glen Leslie, AB, where he attended Somme School. Roy operated grader for the County of Grande Prairie for 30 years. In his free time, he played guitar in a band. He was also an accomplished outdoorsman, and enjoyed wood working.

Roy will be sadly missed by his sons, David Berg and Darren Berg; grandchildren: Brandon Berg and Nathan Berg; great-granddaughter, Emerlee; as well as Brent Ask, Greg Ask, and Anne Ask.

Roy was predeceased by his wife, Mary Berg.
