Very sorry to learn of Ruth's passing. She was such a kind and loving person. I remember learning the ways of the kitchen from her back in the La Glace arena days. She gave me tasks that I could handle, and once I mastered that, she'd let me try other things too. It was my first job (even though I worked for cheeseburgers back then - I think I was twelve), and her work ethic and customer service skills influenced me and stayed with me for all these years. My parents often visited, and when my folks split up, we sort of lost touch. Although I think Dad has managed to keep in touch. She was always kind to us as a family, and I know that if my Mom was still alive, she would be sending her sympathy messages to you also.
