Ryan Bradley James Hatch, resident of Silver Valley, AB, formerly of Medicine Hat, AB, passed away near Golden, BC, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the age of 44 years. Ryan was born in Lethbridge, AB, and educated in Cluny/Silver Valley. He worked in the oil patch and tire shop in Slave Lake, AB, and found a comfort zone job of assistant hotel and bar Manager/Bouncer. He loved his family and friends but did not get around to having a wife and kids of his own. Ryan just became “Uncle Jungle Gym” to everyone else’s kids. Most descriptions of Ryan have 3 things in common: his friendly attitude, his smiles and big booming laugh, and his wonderful hugs he gave to anyone who needed one.

Ryan will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends in Slave Lake, Medicine Hat, Calgary, and Silver Valley; as well as other numerous people and places that Ryan touched. A Remembrance Gathering in Ryan’s memory will be held in Slave Lake, Medicine Hat, Calgary, and Silver Valley in the coming weeks.
