Obituary For Ryan Thomas Joseph McCaig
Ryan Thomas Joseph McCaig, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, in Grande Prairie at the age of 29 years.
Ryan was born on August 28, 1991. He was born in Grande Prairie, and would live there for the rest of his life.
He worked for Larry and Garrett at Frontier Environmental Drilling for the last seven years. He enjoyed his work and was a cherished employee. In 2005, Ryan and his brother Mike formed ‘Bloodless.’ Writing, recording and producing their music together, they built a large following. Ryan had a great passion for his work and was the happiest in their studio.
He was many things to many people: a protector and best friend to his brothers Chance and Michael; a source of endless pride and joy to his parents Faye and Roland; and an amazing, loving uncle to his nieces Kaasia, Lily, Nina and Harmony.
Ryan had a smile and laugh that would brighten your day. He was caring and supportive, always willing to listen and help whenever needed. He was an amazing bright light for all who met him.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Faye; brothers Michael and Chance; nieces: Kaasia, Lily, Nina, and Harmony; grandparents Willard and Arlene; special friend Kaylee; as well as many friends and extended family.
Ryan was predeceased by his father Roland Logan; uncle Ryan Logan; paternal great-grandma Ruth Logan, great-grandma Knox and great-grandpa Charlie; and his maternal great-grandparents: Kate McQueen, and Eileen and Donald McCaig.
A private, invitation-only Funeral Service for Ryan will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at the Sturgeon Heights Cemetery.
For those who wish to view the service from home, a livestream link will be available to view 15-20 minutes before the start of the service on his online obituary.
