Samuel Essler, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Calgary, AB, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 66 years.

Samuel was born on Sunday, February 3, 1952 in Vancouver, BC to Phylis and John Essler. He was raised in Victoria, BC. Samuel worked as a Small Engine Mechanic for many years and he enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren, as well as art, and motorcycles.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Angela, Daniel, and Samarah; Angela’s children: Taysha, Ashley and Davin; Daniel’s children: Treyton, Talyn, Tamek, Tayo, Alasandra, Thayne, Breeanna, and Damian; as well as Samarah’s daughter Tessa.

He was predeceased his mother Phylis, father John, spouse Deborah, and son Sigmund.
