Sarah Wall, resident of Mackenzie Place, formerly of DeBolt, AB, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the age of 103 years.

Sarah was the first of eight children born to Cornelius and Sarah Neufeld in Sunnyslope, AB, on January 14, 1915. She chose to be a follower of Jesus early, lived an exemplary life, helped to raise her younger siblings after their mother's death, and spoke highly of her precious parents and siblings. She graduated from Mountain View Bible School in Didsbury, AB.

George Wall married this petite lady, his princess, on June 1, 1944. They served together in many pastorates in the Church of the Nazarene in SK, AB, BC, NWT, and North and South Dakota. Many times, she packed and unpacked, hosted company, did house calls with George, sang in duets and choirs, or prepared for her specialty of teaching young children in Sunday School. They celebrated 68 years of marriage before George's passing.

Forever grateful for a godly heritage are their 3 children: Ethel (Terry) Goertzen, Stan (Helen) Wall, and Ed (Edith) Wall; five grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, all of whom brought Sarah much joy. Her sister Lois Fuchs and brother Amos Neufeld are among the true wealth of extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Goodwin Hall (1/4 mile south of Highway 43 on Highway 734 / Forestry Trunk Road).

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
