Savannah River Ferguson, resident of Horse Lake First Nation, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Horse Lake First Nation at the age of 24 years.

Savannah was born on December 23, 1996, in Grande Prairie, AB, to Sabrina Savard and Rick Wilson. She was raised in Horse Lake First Nation and lived there all her life.

She loved hanging out with family and friends, doing her make-up and hair, watching television, coloring and going to Lac St. Anne with her late Papa Ernest.

Savanah will be sadly missed by her parents Sabrina Savard and Rick Wilson; sisters Shania (Glen), Shayla, and Lorrinda Wanihandi; brothers Ricky and Ernest; boyfriend Tyler Horseman; aunt Lisa Ferguson; uncles: Dwayne Ferguson, Warren Ferguson, Waylon Horseman, and Troy Ferguson; cousins: Andrew, Levi, Duke, Summer, Allisa, Stephanie, Miley, Santina, Cyrus, Justin, DJ, Kashtin and Alvin; nephew Quiton Jr., as well as many more cousins, aunts and uncles.

Savannah was predeceased by her grandparents Ernest and Doreen Ferguson, uncle Derrick, cousin Devyn, as well as great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Wake will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 6:00pm at Horse Lake First Nation Arena.

An Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 1:00pm, at Horse Lake First Nation Arena.
