Sheila A. Zyha, resident of Spirit River, AB, formerly of Coventry, England, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Central Peace Health Complex in Spirit River, at the age of 71 years.

Sheila was born June 10, 1946 in Coventry, England. She had an older brother Ian and a younger sister Norma. Sheila married David McGill in 1965, then they both moved to Canada. They had three children together. The family moved to Dawson Creek, BC in 1974 where she raised her children. Sheila later married Nick Zyha in 1987 and moved to Spirit River where they lived ever since.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Nick Zyha, sons Stuart and David, and daughter Sandra; grandchildren: Kyle, Amber, Nathan, Brianna, Sara, Jennifer, Amanda-Lynn, Nicholas, Benjiman and Katie; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Claire and Conner.

Sheila was predeceased by her first husband David McGill and her parents and grandparents.

The Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 5:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

The Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00pm at Spirit River Cemetery.
