Sheila Mitchell (also known as Sue-Ling), resident of Grande Prairie, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Grande Prairie, at the age of 56 years.

Sheila was born August 30, 1962 in Grande Prairie and was raised in Sturgeon Lake. She also lived in Winnipeg, MB, and Kelowna, BC, but Grande Prairie was her home.

She was very artistic and fashionable, and had her own style. She enjoyed native dancing, sewing, and visiting family and friends.

Sheila will be sadly missed by her aunts Dorothy Garbitt and Virginia Mitchell, uncle Alfred Mitchell, brother Frank Mitchell, daughter Robyn Fouriner, and grandchild Chris Chowace.

She was predeceased by her son Chris Mitchell, mother Edith Mitchell, and grandfathers Eli Mitchell and Bill Mitchell.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 6:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 1:00pm, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.).
