Hi Hanna and Family, I am sad to hear of Sheldon's passing. I learned of this just today when I received the Mount Allison Record Quarterly Magazine. Sheldon and I were fairly tight while I was in my 2nd year of university and we both lived on the same 4th floor of Harper Hall Dormitory. Some fond memories of Sheldon: 1.)showing me how to request journal papers at the library (back then we had to request scientific research papers from other universities to be sent by mail in order to read them, then send them back) 1.) pontificating about the power and graphics of the Commodore Amiga computer: it was ahead of it's time. 2.) performing in his radio voice 3.) reminding me that he would be sailing with the Captain tonight on the weekends (preferred drink was being Captain Morgan) 4.)breaking up a fight in the hall way between 2 students who did not get along. 5.)helping me carry groceries back from the store (extra study snacks in the dorm for late at night) I remember Sheldon as loyal, up beat, and assertive (jumping into a fist fight to pull 2 guys apart while everyone else stood in their dorm room doors gawking) I will try to reach out to you on the interwebs to share this as well, not sure if you will receive this. I pray that you find comfort in this short message. Chris Covert

Very sorry to hear of Sheldon's untimely passing. Knew him from Trueman House at Mount Allison University. He was a real character and lovely guy. Never took himself too seriously and he loved those Calgary Flames. His room was the unofficial Saddledome back in the day. Wishing peace to him and his loved ones.

So very sorry to hear of this gentleman, Sheldon, passing. He seemed to me like a fixture at Home Hardware and I always sought him out when shopping there. His enthusiasm and knowledge was always appreciated. It will take some getting used to his absence.

In Loving Memory Of Sheldon Life is like a bad card game Some hands dealt, seem so unfair To take away such a Good Sweet Friend Has left us all in dispair The Good Lord better have a TV up there So you can watch your favorite team And the Calgary Flames better win Or you will rip them apart at the seams Your Brother Scott can cheer for Toronto Every time they play But I think The Good Lord Will allow you to have the final say Rest In Peace My Dear Friend Pat/ Muk-Tuk Apts
