Shelley Wilson, resident of Horse Lake First Nation, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 40 years.

Shelley was born in Grande Prairie, on December 17, 1980. She was raised in Grande Prairie for a couple years then moved to Horse Lake where she lived until her passing.

She was very loving and kind hearted, she wore her heart on her sleeve.

Shelley liked spending time with her kids and grand-babies. She was always cleaning something. She enjoyed visiting family and going for walks.

Shelley will be sadly missed by her children: Jayden, Kourtney (John), Julie, and Sydney; grandchildren Parker and Dre; mother Irene (Chuck); sisters Sonya and Sheila Ferguson; as well as brothers Sheldon Ferguson and Dustin Wilson.

Shelley was predeceased by her father Blair Ferguson, sister Shanda Ferguson; brother Shawn; grandfather Harvey Wilson; grandparents: Nellie Ferguson, Raymond Laglace, and Fraser Ferguson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Wake will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 6:00pm at Horse Lake Arena (Horse Lake First Nation 152B)

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 1:00pm at Horse Lake Arena.
