Obituary For Shirley Ann Ventress

Shirley Ann Ventress, resident of Valleyview, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Valleyview, AB, at the age of 85 years.

Shirley was born in Kindersley, SK. As a family they moved to the Columbia Valley, BC. Shirley trained as a nurse and eventually moved to Ontario. She moved to Valleyview, AB, in 1988. Shirley was a skilled seamstress and made most of her own clothes. She loved her many cats.

Shirley was predeceased by both her parents and all of her siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held in Shirley’s honor on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 11:00 AM at the Paradise Inn and Suites (3609 Highway Street, Valleyview, Alberta)

Im sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I rented a room from her for almost a year in about 2004. She was s wonderful lady, very strong in her will to keep on going forward despite aches & pains. She totally loved and adopted my cat Mika while i was there. She had called me a couple years ago to let me know Mika passed around 18 years old. That was a well lived cat. I look forward to our reunion in heaven Shirley, my sister in Christ.
