Obituary For Shirley Bisbing Salway

On Wednesday, November 11, 2015, Shirley Anne Salway passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ, with her family at her side, at the age of 76 years.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years Keith, and her children: Marcia (Hector) Ouellette, Marvin (Michelle) Salway, Marlene Salway; and her grandchildren: Kent Salway, Destani Ritson, Amanda Kryway, Adyn Ouellette, Brady Salway and Brandon McLean; great-grandchildren: Isaiah Salway, Letitia Salway, Brooklynn Salway and Ryder Safruik; siblings: Joan (Arnold) Downey, Jim (Frances) Bisbing and Carl (Louise) Bisbing; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 1:00pm, at Beaverlodge Alliance Church (409 10 St.) with viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow in the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial Donations in loving memory of Shirley may be made to the Beaverlodge Hospital Ladies Auxiliary (PO Box 914, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C) or to Gideon’s International Bibles of Canada (PO Box 3619 Stn. Main, Guelph, ON, N1H 7A2)

    We were all saddened to hear of Shirley's passing on. We all know how courageous she battled cancer. Hold on to the memories of her love she gave to us all. She was certainly a dear friend and we cherish the memories we have of her friendship. Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
