Obituary For Stacey Lee Ramsey
Stacey Lee Ramsey, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 46 years.
Stacey was born on February 24, 1977, to parents Donald Budd Piche and Deborah Merrie Piche. She was raised in Kelowna, B.C, with her sister Jamie and brother Brian. She moved to Fort St. John, B.C, at 16 where she met her Husband Jamey. They were together for 27 years and had one child a daughter Brooke Marie Mae.
Stacey was loved by so many not just her family but by so many friends. Everybody knew when Stacey walked in the room. From her vintage dresses to her bigger than life personality, everybody instantly loved her. She was a loving, kind, and generous soul.
Stacey’s family was her whole life. Weekend life always involved her husband, sister, and daughter. She loved to help everyone no matter who they were, so to say she was selfless would be a huge understatement. Stacey loved to sing and dance, music was a huge part of her life. Stacey and her daughter would perform concerts in the car the whole drive to wherever they were going. If a good song came on it didn’t matter where she was, she had to dance, it made everyone around her laugh and smile. Stacey loved collecting antiques from hats and teacups to irons and vintage tins. Everyone always said she was born in the wrong era.
Stacey will be missed by her husband Jamey; sister Jamie; brother Brian; and daughter Brooke; as well as many other close family and friends.
The FUNeral will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 2:00pm, at the Grande Prairie Legion (9912 101 Ave.). Luncheon to follow.
