My thoughts and prayers are with Stan, Kent, family and fiends during this difficult time. Stella was an amazing friend and mother to not only her children but others as well. I will never forget the many nights she made all of us kids frozen pizzas from IGA while us girls watched Terminator. She protected us and also kept us in line when needed. She had such an amazing sense of humour. She will be missed but not forgotten.

Stella and my mother Louise Campbell were first cousins. I have fond memories of them visiting and laughing and talking in Cree. She once told me that she had to be a good shot because her dad would give her one bullet and told her to make it count. In my teen years I babysat Arlene and we had the best times listening to classic 60's songs and watching Kids in the Hall. Rest In Peace dear Stella, you have been there for my family through many years and difficult times. I wish that I could hug you one more time and hear you call me Cheezie- my mom called Arlene Cheezie so I guess it was our special nickname. I even remember when Arlene got frustrated and told you two that she could speak Cree too. So when asked to say something in Cree, she said, "Cheezie!" And our cool nickname was born. I will miss your laugh and stories of the old days.
