Obituary For Stephen Wynn
Stephen John Wynn, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 in Grande Prairie, at the age of 57 years.
Stephen was born in Halifax, NS on September 13, 1960. He was a meat cutter in Nova Scotia before heading west to Alberta in the early 1990’s.
He worked in the oil patch. He also had previously driven taxi and assembled bicycles for Canadian Tire. He worked for Precision Well Servicing for 11 years before becoming ill in 2016.
Stephen was a fan of martial arts. In Nova Scotia, he was a martial arts instructor.
He was fiercely independent and a loving, single dad who was very protective of his boys. He received Jesus Christ as his personal savior in 2017.
Stephen will be sadly missed by his children: Jeremiah Joachim Wynn and Justice Joachim; sisters Debbie and Angela “Angel”; nieces: Amanda, Jessica, Amy, and Kaylee; and longtime friend Lynda.
He was predeceased by his father Daniel Wynn in April 2009, mother Margaret Wynn in April 2018, and his wife Sharon Joachim in July 2013.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00am, at Pineview Alliance Church in Grande Cache, AB (10201 Hoppe Ave).
A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 2:00pm, at McLaurin Baptist Church in Grande Prairie (10913 107 Ave).
