Syd was such a great guy, and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. I enjoyed many men's breakfasts with him while in Grande Prairie. I was always encouraged by what he had to share. May the Lord strengthen and comfort you as you remember Syd's life and legacy.

My deepest condolences to all of you. I have taught grade 5 in Grande Prairie for 27 years and always look forward to Syd coming into my classroom with the little red bibles. He had such a kind and caring heart. He made a difference on a lot of children. He always taught them how to open a brand new book properly and I still teach my students that trick. His memory will live on.
