Sylvain Landry, resident of Grande Cache, AB, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Grande Cache, at the age of 66 years.

Sylvain was born on May 19, 1957, in Nouvelle, QB. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in Grande Cache Coal. Sylvain enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He had a good sense of humor and great personality. He was silly all the way, everyone called him “Silly”. Sylvain was very outspoken and straightforward.

He loved watching movies and listening to music. His all-time favorite was Elvis Presley and he also watched WWE weekly.

Sylvain will be sadly missed by his wife Emelie and his children Elaine and Alex.

He was predeceased by his mother Francoise Landry and father Flo Landry.

I am so sorry to hear about Sylvain's passing, he was a very kind person and I remember how often he would help my mom France Laquerre and sister Nancy Bingham with anything they needed and he never wanted anything in return but their friendship, he will be truly missed, rest in peace Sylvain. 💔
