Obituary For Tara Danette White

Tara White, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Hythe, AB, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in her home, at the age of 59 years.

Tara was born on July 19, 1963, in Edmonton, AB. With her family of seven, they finally decided to stay in Hythe where she was raised and worked as a chef. Her interest as a chef made her a very good cook.

Tara loved to laugh and be happy. She was very loyal to her friends, and with a big heart she would help anyone.

Tara enjoyed plants and gardening, walking her dog Tiki, camping, cooking, and sitting around a firepit with her friends.

Tara will be sadly missed by her many close friends.

Tara was predeceased by her parents Eileen and Rob White; brothers Greg and Derek; as well as her sister Gayla.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 2:00-4:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

    A very sad time losing a beautiful hearted woman!!! She always waved or said hi to greet you with such enthusiasm. Always ready to give a hug to anyone and everyone around. My young men and I will think of you always and forever .....gonna miss you and Tiki walking around and seeing your beautiful smile. Rest well Tara, He was calling you home to be reunited with your family.

    You (we) were always years ahead of your age as a teenager. We partied a lot together and I cherish those memories always. It feels not real that you are gone- so young- but yes, beautiful forever. Rest in sweet paradise, Tara.

    Tara I remember you as a strong willed and fun loving teenaged young woman - we were growing up too fast! I always get transported back to the party basement suite and think of you and Gayla when I hear Blue Oyster Cult and Trooper. May you RIP old friend.
