Obituary For Terry Dean Scarborough
Terry Scarborough passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the age of 59 years.
Terry was born October 20, 1959 to Katherine and William Scarborough, and was raised by his Aunt Anne and Uncle Harold Veldhouse after his mother passed away. He grew up in Wildwood, AB, and moved to Edson soon after marrying his wife, Anita Breitkreutz. There, they had their daughter Kristen and, in 1996, he moved his family to Grande Prairie to work for a trucking company.
Terry was a kind man with a quick wit and a big heart. He loved God and his church community, who's friendships he greatly valued. He was an avid reader and loved spending time outdoors, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Anita, daughter Kristen, son in-law, Shannon and granddaughter Ainsley. He will be greatly missed by them and the rest of his family and friends.
We will be celebrating Terry's life on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 11:00am, at Christ Community Church in Grande Prairie (10106 112 Ave).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (#144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 5G8)
