I don't think I've ever known a stronger or more beautiful woman than Auntie Terry. Even though she never drew attention to herself, she had such a formidable yet quiet presence that would fill a room. She was a rock to everyone around her, even her extended family when she knew we needed her. She put everyone else before herself. Most of all, she was funny and could always see the humour in moments that deserved a good laugh (and make us all laugh with her reaction). She was a rare person, and I wish I could have given back to this loving woman who touched me deeply and forever.
