He owned and operated Peace Valley Veterinary Clinic in Vernon, BC, Midnight Sun Veterinary Clinic in Whitehorse, YK, and Northern Rockies Veterinary Services in Fort Nelson, BC, before retiring from veterinary medicine in 2003.

Terry was an active member of the sled dog racing community for more than 50 years where he made many lifelong friends along the way. He was also an avid gardener and was most at peace in his backyard surrounded by the beautiful flower gardens he took such joy in caring for.

He was predeceased by his father Earl, and his mother Marjorie of Vernon, B.C.

Condolences

  • August 11, 2024

So sorry to hear this news. Terry worked for me a few times when I owned Store to door delivery service. He was a real nice guy. Also as weird as it sounds. I just noticed his sister and brother in law from Campbell River is where I'm originally from and Rick Gunn if it's the same person taught me in elementary grade 7. This blows me away that we didn't figure this out before. My maiden name is Wind. Sending my condolences to Terry's family.
