Obituary For Therese LaMarque-Balmer

Tess Balmer, a long-time resident of Sesxmith, AB passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Prairie Lake Seniors Community at the age of 75 years.

Tess wanted to thank the numerous people who have helped her these past few years. Special thanks to Helen, Jennifer and the staff at Prairie Lake Seniors Community on the fourth floor.

Tess was predeceased by her parents and long-time partner Gerald Logan.

At Tess’ request, there will not be a Funeral Service.

Remember Tess for her big heart, loving smiles and endless kindness.

I was blessed to enjoy many conversations with Tess at the Comp. I enjoyed her spirit and student-centered focus. Many students benefited from Tess's concern for their well-being, and fellow staff enjoyed more than one laugh, good story or performance in an assembly. All the best to family and friends.
