Obituary For Therese Laurin
Thérèse Aldéa Laurin resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Kathleen, AB, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 88 years.
Thérèse was born May 24, 1927 in Falher, AB to Philias Lefebvre and Alexandrine Gingras.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 68 years Louis Laurin and her children: Louise (Gus Caron), Raymond (Dianne Eady) Irene (Gilbert Lepage), Henri (Pauline Servant) and Victor (Dianel Lavoie); thirteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her three siblings: Rollande, André and Germaine; and one great-granddaughter Cassidy Laurin.
The Viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.).
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 15, at 11:00am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Grande Prairie.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Alberta (#205, 9823 116 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 4B4).
The family of Thérèse Aldéa Laurin wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Grande Prairie Care Centre, Wild Rose Manor, Oliver’s Funeral Home, Father Ed Eherer C.Ss.R, and St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
