Obituary For Travis Wayne Anderson
Travis Wayne Anderson passed away Thursday, August 28, 2017, at the age of 33 years.
Travis was born January 8, 1984 in Fort Nelson, BC.
Beloved son, brother and friend, Travis’ life, though tragically short, was filled with love, laughs, ridiculous jokes and wisdom beyond his years. Always the first to offer a hand, ear or shoulder to anyone in need, he filled the world around him with compassion and honesty.
Travis will be forever missed by his parents: father Wayne, mother Margie, step-mother Betty, and new step-mother Hiedi, who were often referred to as “Dad and his sister wives”; siblings: sister Nicky, best friend/brother Jordan, brother Andy, and sister Krystal; grandmother Gladys, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
There will be a brief Memorial Service at Oliver’s Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 2:00-4:00pm.
Following the Service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Dad’s (Wayne’s) home (10666 Royal Oaks Drive), with food and drinks.

I was crushed to hear the news. Travis felt like a brother to me too, watching the Oilers games over the years, the UFC excitement, we'd also tease back and forth about switching tires since we both ran 20's, always a helpful hint about finding a road when I'd get my dispatch, and the holler hello when he walked in the door. I could go on with memories that I will hold dear and I will always be grateful Travis was in my life. Sending thoughts of comfort and will be thinking of you all on Saturday, sadly I am unable to attend.
