Trent Douglas Stark, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, at the age of 57 years.

Trent was born in Grande Prairie, AB on April 17, 1962. He attended St. Joseph Catholic High School and NAIT where he furthered a lifelong love for the automotive industry and classic cars.

He enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends gathering in the evenings at his shop, watching NASCAR with his faithful companion Ava, sledding in the mountains, golfing on Sundays with his buddies, or relaxing with his family.

Trent will be sadly missed by his wife of 22 years Jackie Stark; daughter Katelyn Stark (Christopher); parents Douglas and Evelyn Stark; sisters: Donna (Richard) Tate, Joan Stark, and Tracy (Robert) Haugseth; sisters in-law Debbie (Robert) Roszell and Tanice (Paul) Janzen; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his gramma Lucy McLaughin and father and mother in-law Carl and Irma Wald.

The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Martin, Dr. Hattingh, and the homecare nurses for their valued support.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, at 3:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
