I knew Troy in junior high and high school. He was a good friend who cared about my well being, even showing up at my door after a break up and making me come out with him and his friends. He also played peacemaker when some friends and I were having some issues. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

Sheryl, for moments like this in life there are no words other than to tell you how sorry I am to hear of the loss of Troy and my thoughts are with you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. Troy was such a happy, positive person and always had that huge smile on his face. I have many memories of him from when we were neighbour's on the acreage in GP. We also vacationed with Troy in San Diego when Darren Kimble got married. RIP our friend.

We can't imagine the pain of your loss but want you to know that we hold all of those dear to Troy close in thought and prayer. Although, we didn't know Troy well, being Lyle's friend automatically meant he was a good man. I enjoyed my brief encounters with Troy's friendly manner and readiness to lend a helping hand. Troy and Lyle's trials and tribulations of hunting and outdoors, their shared heroics in a rescue of an injured hunter will all be part of our treasured memories. We pray that many fond memories will ease the pain of your loss. Ben and Susan Karpisek

So very sorry for your terrible loss Sheryl and Deena! I can't even fathom. As you know Troy was so very good to our boys growing up. He didn't mind showing them the ropes, even tho they were younger and followed him around, he took them along. More recently they have been playing on the same hockey team and sledding. Such good memories. We are away and unable to attend today, but our Thoughts are very much with you! Gene and Judy Bombier
