I just received news of Valerie's passing.Val and I moved in and out of time, connecting, losing our way, connecting again. It was a friendship that despite the gaps remained steady over time and was greatly treasured. Valerie had a kind and generous heart and a wonderful imagination. She was one of the great spirits of this world and I know she still shines bright. She was loved and will be missed.
