Victoria McDiarmid, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Nanaimo, BC, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 84 years.

Victoria was born on April 17, 1936, in Stenen, SK, to Kaysie and Pete Smud.

She was loved by everyone. She had a great sense of humour, loved country music and crocheting.

She had been residing with her daughter Barb and her husband Trevor, where she was surrounded by her granddaughter Selena, and her great-grandchildren Leo and Ali; Vicky had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will sadly miss her; as well as her son Clarence Swanson; sister Ann; and brother Andy.

She was predeceased by her husband Archie; as well as her sons Albert Swanson and Ted Swanson.
