Obituary For Violet James

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Violet Mary James on Thursday, September 1, 2016, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 69 years.

Violet (Vi) was born on December 10, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK. She grew up in Salmon Arm, BC with her siblings Ken, Cindy and Randy. Later she moved to Rycroft, AB, then on to Grande Prairie where she spent the remaining years of her life.

Vi’s hobbies included: gardening, painting (stained glass), drawing, sewing and watching science fiction movies.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son: Lisa (Cory) Tourand and Bill James (Amber) as well as brothers, sister and grandchildren.

You will be sadly missed mom, but never forgotten.

I offer my sympathy to all the family at this tragic time in your lives. I have only met Violet as a child . The years have been many and lives have gone on in different directions.
