Virgil always had time and chat and ask how our Family was doing each time we met - always a great friend, meat cutter to top it off! Virgil will be forever in our hearts holding lasting memories! Sending our thoughts and prayers to the whole family. Our family has many fun memories of Virgil in the Super A, hockey rink, baseball fields and camping. Nobody could make "dough-boys" at the campsite like he could. He will be missed. Look after each other in this time of loss.

After hearing about Virgil's death, I was reminded of the times over the years that our paths crossed. One comes to mind: my first job was at Super A . Times were difficult as I had just moved out on my own. Every night, until I had my first paycheck, he made sure I had food to take home with me. I will never forget his act of kindness.
