Walter Kowaski, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023, at his home, at the age of 78 years.

Walter was born on May 12, 1945, in Grande Prairie. He was a dedicated, hard-working, loving, and caring husband and father to his wife Kathy, and their two sons Dustin and Jeremy.

He was always interested in spending time with his family, working on projects on the computer, listening to his idol Elvis Presley, shooting a good old game of pool, and playing his favorite songs on guitar.

Walter was quite the jokester and loved to make people laugh. He was very confident, determined, creative, and caring.

He played in a band in his younger days. His favorite hobbies were drinking a cold one with the boys and ‘beer me”.

Walter will be sadly missed by his wife Kathy Kowaski; sons Dustin Kowaski and Jeremy Kowaski; Cindy, Wayne, Christine, and Jason Bruno; Don Potter; Larry Best; as well as many more.

He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Ethel Kowaski.
