Obituary For Wayne Jeffrey Tangen
It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Jeffrey Tangen announce his sudden passing on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the age of 64 years.
Wayne was a quiet, gentle soul who often preferred the company of man’s best friend. He was also a gifted craftsman: from doing carpentry work, to plumbing and Masonry work. He truly was a Jack of all trades.
Wayne will be remembered by his three sons: Jason, Jeffrey and Michael Tangen; grandchildren: Taylor, Terran, Gracie and Tyson. Wayne will also be sadly missed by his sister Carolyn of Okotoks; brother Randy (Louise) of Grande Prairie; sister Angela (Timo) of Calgary; and sister in-law Zella of Wembley.
Wayne was predeceased by his father John Tangen, mother Verona Tangen, and brother Clifford Tangen.
A Memorial Gathering Luncheon will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019, form 1:00-3:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
The family asks that any memorial donations be made to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (800 College Plaza, 8215 112 St., Edmonton, AB, T6G 2C8).
