Obituary For Wayne Peebles

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Wayne on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the age of 63 years. He was born on October 9, 1951.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: sister Gail (Ken) Cowpar, brother Jack (Shirley) Peebles, and sister Joan Tordoff. Also missing him in his passing are several nieces and nephews, cousins, and an aunt and uncle.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents George and Mary Peebles; sister Hazel Greber, and sister in-law, Debbie Peebles.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lewis and staff and friends from Mackenzie Place and Grande Prairie Care Centre for their care and friendship to Wayne over the years.

As per Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service will be held.

Friends who so wish may make a memorial donation to Spinal Cord Injury Alberta (10 Knowledge Way, Grande Prairie, AB, T8W 2V9) or a charity of one’s choice.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Wayne I was one of his care givers at Mackenzie place and late at points west and finally at the care center for a short while. Wayne was a hard man to get to know but once you broken that tough exterior his was a very kind man. I know he is in a good place now and doing all the things he used to love to do and missed doing in his life after his accident I believe he will be keeping an eye on everyone 😊 He will be missed. All the best to you and your family I know he loved you all very much and I know he depended on you and really looked forward to seeing you Gail. You are an amazing sister God be with you My thoughts and prayers are going out to you and yours at this difficult time
