Obituary For William "Bill" John Kimble

Bill passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, AB, at the age of 69 years.

A long-time resident of Grande Prairie, Bill worked most of his life as a long-haul truck driver and heavy equipment operator. His goal was to continue driving trucks for many more years, but unfortunately an accident in 2020 left him unable to do so. Bill had a huge heart and was never happier than when helping others.

He is survived by brother Tony (Peter) Kimble; sisters Kelly (Frank) Johnson and Debbie (Bill) Tinkess; brother Danny (Diane) Kimble; nephews: Dennis Lobban, Jason (Chantele) Adams, Michael (Jessica) Kimble, Jamie (Fran) Kimble, Jeff (Jerricka) Tinkess, and Matt Tinkess; niece Kristy (Sean) Graham; and great-nephews: Alozi, J.J., Kaisean, Liam, Konnor, Kolton, Ty, and Kallen; and great-nieces: Amena, Kealynn, and Henley. Bill also had a very large extended family spanning 5 generations.

Bill was predeceased by his partner Patti Snydmiller; his parents Ellsworth and Anne Kimble; as well as mother-in-law Judy (Don) Hansen.

Special thanks to Shelly and Jason at Country Roads RV Park, the staff of the Royal Alexandra Hospital Cardiac Care ICU team, and STARS Air Ambulance for all their help.

Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, at The Old Barn Hall at Country Roads RV Park (63061A TWP RD 722). Children are welcome. Burial of the ashes to follow at Glen Leslie Cemetery.
