Obituary For Wyatt Bartsch
Wyatt Bryce Bartsch of Beaverlodge, AB passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the age of 22 years.
Wyatt was born in Grande Prairie, AB on June 28, 1995 and spent his entire life on his family farm. He loved the farm and always told everyone he would stay there forever. Wyatt was always out with his dog, horses, quading, target shooting, or tinkering with anything and everything. From a very young age, he was a skilled welder and mechanic and would run any piece of equipment he could get his hands on. If he wasn’t at the farm, he could be found camping, at the lake boating, water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding, tubing or with his friends. When he was younger Wyatt trained in Taekwon-Do and won several medals over the years.
Wyatt had a huge heart and was extremely generous, he would do anything for anyone and never asked for a single thing in return. There were several times he would just get home and his phone would ring and he would be out the door, gone again without a second thought. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Wyatt had a sense of humour as large as his laugh and always had a witty comeback to any comment or for any situation, whether it called for it or not.
He was a heavy duty mechanic in Beaverlodge, his chosen profession, and he was studying at GPRC. Wyatt enjoyed his career and the people he worked with.
Wyatt will be sadly missed and forever loved and cherished by his parents Harold and Robin and his brother Quentin; his grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins and countless dear friends.
Wyatt was predeceased by his grandfathers.
A Memorial Service for Wyatt will be held on October 7, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Hythe Legion in Hythe, AB (10212 100 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to PARDS (8202 84 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8X 0L6) Suicide Prevention Resource Center (200, Nordic Court, 10014 99 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 3N4) or any Random Act of Kindness.
