The Financial Assistance Program gives support to people in financial need of transportation and accommodation when traveling to and from treatment at cancer treatment facilities in Alberta.

Compassionate Friends of Canada is a self-help organization for parents who have experienced the death of a child. The service is provided at seven locations across Alberta, including Fairview, AB. The services offers support, understanding and education about grief and hope following the death of a child through a voluntary support group as well as a library for group members.
